Hello everyone, and welcome to the annual Summer Show 2022. We decided to keep this show as an online show (after being forced into online versions during lockdown) for a number of reasons - partly because it is now difficult to get into the hall early enough to set the tables up, and also because a fair number of members said that they liked taking photographs over a period of a few days as it made things all a bit less hectic!
Many thanks to our judge, Sylvia Pocock, for once again cheerfully attempting to make sense of photographic entries, where you cannot pick up the exhibits and look at them in detail!
Thank you also to all those who entered and supported the show. We are aware that getting back into the swing of things is difficult, and a return to normality is long overdue (What day is it? What month is it? Sometimes, what year is it? - Show Elf). We would like to return our shows back to the level we all enjoyed before the COVID epidemic, and hope you all agree that we should do so and are willing to support us.

Nineham Challenge Cup - Overall Show Winner - Jackie Chapman
Lady Burnett Bowl - Best Floral Art Arrangment, Class 1 - Pat Thorn
Bennet Cup - Best Exhibit in Miniature Floral Art, Class 2 - Jane Firmin
Brux Rose Bowl - Most points in the Rose Classes 4-9 excluding Class 8 - Rosemary Buchan
Congratulations to Jackie, and Jilly (Show Secretary) and I (Show Elf) would like say how pleased we are that a new Show Winner has emerged rather than one of the Usual Suspects.
